Highlights from our Letter X Week
1. Learning the Letter X (uppercase, lowercase, sound & song)
2. Practicing writing the letter X uppercase and lowercase.
3. Reading Stories about the letter X and our Five Senses
4. We learned about smelling and our noses.
5. We made a smelling paper with fruit and jello, scratch and sniff. Yum!
6. We had class pictures taken at Target, always a fun adventure. I think the pictures turned out great. The children were so good and excited. I hope everyone like their pictures.
7. Snack, nom, nom, nom, we like snack. Thank you for all the wonderful snacks!
8. We made homemade popcorn in an air popper for our food experience. We used all of our 5 senses, we could see it, smell it, hear it, taste it and touch it.
9. We played outside for recess....yeha!
10. We learned a few new songs, said goodbye to April and Hello to May!
I can't believe we only have three weeks left of our preschool year. We will finish up the alphabet, make our books and start preparing for our end of year program. We will be celebrating lots of birthdays in May as well as a few summer birthdays. So the month of May will pretty much be a big ole party! See you next week for Letter Y and more learning about our Five Senses.
Later, Miss Heidi
Our class pictures will be ready on May 9th, so they will come home on Monday, May 12th.
